Welcome to ARE (Application Readiness Engine). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ARE services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

ARE is an AI-powered document compliance platform that helps users create properly formatted photos, signatures, and documents for:

• Indian government examinations (SSC, UPSC, NEET, JEE, etc.)
• Passport and visa applications
• Identity documents and ID cards
• College admissions and job applications

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use our service
• One person may not maintain more than one free account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Use the service to create forged or fraudulent documents
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI processing systems
• Abuse the API or circumvent rate limits
• Resell or redistribute processed outputs commercially without permission
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to photos, signatures, and documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a temporary license to process your files as requested.

6. Service Tiers & Payments

• Free Tier: Limited daily processing with ads
• Paid Tiers: Enhanced processing, no ads, priority support
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

8. Disclaimers

• ARE provides photo/document formatting assistance. We do not guarantee acceptance by any examination body or government agency
• It is the user's responsibility to verify that outputs meet the specific requirements of their target application
• Our AI processing is provided "as is" — while we strive for accuracy, results may vary
• We are not liable for rejected applications due to non-compliant outputs

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARE and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Data Processing

Uploaded files are processed on our servers and temporarily stored on AWS S3 (ap-south-1, India). Files are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
